Improve lawn thickness, repair thin areas, and encourage stronger root development with Ziehler Lawn Care's Aeration & Seeding service. Our process combines core aeration, Liquid Lawn Aeration, premium Tall Fescue seed, targeted bare spot repair, and starter fertilizer.
Core aeration removes small plugs of soil to relieve compaction and improve the movement of air, water, and nutrients to the roots. It also creates openings that help new grass seed make contact with the soil and establish roots.
Our Liquid Lawn Aeration treatment helps create pore space in the soil to support air, water, and nutrient absorption. It also helps stimulate microbial activity, reduce thatch, and create better conditions for root growth.
We apply custom-blended Tall Fescue selected to improve lawn thickness, color, drought tolerance, and resistance to common lawn stresses. Introducing quality grass seed helps fill thin areas and encourages a denser lawn that can better crowd out weeds.
We identify larger bare and worn areas during service and prepare them for additional seed. Our specialists hand-apply treatments to these spots, apply seed directly to the prepared soil, and add seed starter mulch to help retain moisture. This targeted work helps repair areas such as worn patches and grass along hard surfaces.
Every overseeding customer receives Ziehler Lawn Care’s starter fertilizer blend to support new seedlings. Formulated with essential macro- and micronutrients, including phosphorus and potassium, it helps support root development and the early growth of new grass.
